Ngaitahu Energy Limited's people have a very long history in growing, planting, caring for and harvesting trees. This knowledge is now being made available to countries where the governments have realized there is a country wide benefit in embracing the replanting of trees for all industries.
This doesn’t just benefit the country in question because Co2 and other gases released from fossil fuels are not bound by state or country boarders. They carry no passports. They don't go through customs or immigration. However. In a real sense the benefits of growing trees stayed with in the individual countries because of the trade in Carbon Credits allowing us to help all sorts of individuals, clubs, associations, and commercial enterprises not involved in forestry at this time can have a profitable slice of the pie.

We can use marginal hill country including coal mining overburden and slag dumps that would normally revert to scrub. The same-thing applies to rehabilitation the land after the mine has been exhausted.
However, any land will do. Land you can’t use, land you don’t use, land you want to change to a different purpose. Land on hillsides or steep cliff face, land near swamps. No size is to big but smallest profitable size for you is 15 hectares.

Using our history in the industry since 1988

- Register your plantation
- Provide all the seeds
- Help set up the nursery
- Teach people how to plant and look after the seeds to trans planing stage.
- Teach people to transplant the seedlings into the plantation
- We engage train and pay these people so you can get on with the rest of your business
- Our people will monitor your plantation, keep the weeds down maintain the fencing etc
- We will produce the reports for the authorities each year
- Transfer your credits are transferred to your account each year.
- Clearly if you want to be fully involved and hands on you can. However, most of our clients just want to the credits each year appear in their account.
